London 2012 has proved to be one of most significant and game-changing times for women’s cycling and we want to celebrate this unprecedented era and invite you all to Breeze in the Park. The Breeze network will be transforming the National Cycling Centre into a bike riding haven as we encourage women to take to their bikes with friends and children and join others to celebrate this success.  Sneaky peak of what’s in store: Meeting point – Velopark Cafe at the National Cycling Centre. We'll be here from 10am - 1pm. Come and join us at the home of British Cycling for a ride around the area, taking in the scenic sights of Philips Park and Clayton Vale. The start point of these rides will be outside the café and Evans Cycles. We're looking to have our famous Breeze bike rides at:
10.15 NCC to Daisy Nook 11.00 NCC to Debdale Park 12.00 NCC to Clayton Vale There is also: 10.30 – 11.30 Bikeability taster – mix of fun and skills for adult women.  There's a very limited number of bikes available if you wish to borrow one.  Please email [email protected] to reserve one.  You will also need photo ID on the day.   11.45-12.45 manicures available There will be a variety of athletics activities throughout the day. Breeze tea party - This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the Breeze Network and meet like-minded women. They’ll be lots of things to do to keep the children entertained and amused. We’ll provide some refreshments but perhaps might be worth bringing a few pennies if you want something more substantial.  Free hot drinks and cakes available from 11.30 – 1.00pm You'll also be able to take a tour around the National Cycling Centre, and if we're lucky we might be able to see Team GB train in the Velodrome. Turning up on the day is fine, but we’d love you to register. More details coming soon...
