Starting from - CW8 2JD - We'll meet up at Tracs Bike Hire and Shop, which is just behind the Delamere Cafe / Admin building but if the weather isn't so great, we'll meet in the cafe instead.

NOTE: British weather can be unpredictable, which can result in rides being cancelled last minute. To be kept fully in the loop, join our Whatsapp group for ride updates (info below) or, check your email on the day for last minute information. No email/message, means the ride is still going ahead.

From the B5152, at the train station, turn and follow the sign for Go Ape Forest Centre. After 0.5 mile, continue onto the carpark. To the right of the carpark is the Tracs shop.

In case of problems on the day (weather, mechanicals etc), we have a Breeze Whatsapp chat which you can be added to. If you would like to be added please send your name and mobile number to [email protected]. This will allow us to communicate with each other pre ride, and also allows us to keep you up to date with future rides. This information will not be shared (you'll be added by first name only) and you can request to be removed at any time.

If you want to be in the loop for all future rides with us, like and follow our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/BreezeDelemereForest. It's filled with general info, past ride photos and information on upcoming rides and relevant dates. CW8 2JD

Starting point

Cheshire
CW8 2JD

We'll be riding a 7 mile route around the forest. Most of it is flat and easy to ride but some small sections are a little bumpy and uneven. This is nothing that can't be managed by using an easy gear and keeping the pedals turning.

There is also one small hill that some may need to walk. If you need to get off and walk on these small sections, that's perfectly acceptable so please don't let that put you off joining us. Even slow cyclists are lapping the folks lounging on their sofas.

In general, the route is non-technical so all bikes are suitable, although, if it's rained, the skinny tyres of a road bike may not be the best. There is no need to be super experienced or amazingly fast as the plan is to have a social ride at the speed of the slowest rider. We're out to have fun, cycle, chat and of course, eat cake.

Oh, but I don't have a suitable bike I hear you say. Well, we meet at Tracs cycle hire where you can hire a bike for approx. £25. Follow this link for more information - https://www.delamerebikes.co.uk/

The ride is anticipated to take approx. 70 minutes, but allow up to 2 hours if you plan to join us at the café.

Don't forget to bring a spare innertube, snack bar, a warm layer and maybe a waterproof layer if the weather isn't so great. Money for the café stop is essential.

NOTE: We do sometimes take photos and video footage on the rides and these are generally shared in our Whatsapp group chat, Facebook and our Instagram page. If you don't want your photo taken/shared, please let us know at the start of the ride and we can then either turn off the video recording and/or ask you to step to one side when photos are being taken.
