Breeze Launch Cornwall - Sport Relief - Snails Pace Cafe to Padstow on the Camel Trail

Join us in celebrating the Official Launch of Breeze Cornwall this month with a lovely jaunt on the Camel Trail on Sport Relief weekend by giving it some #thisgirlcan. Meet your Champions running Breeze Rides in Cornwall at the Snails Pace Cafe near Wenfordbridge. It can be tricky to find so make sure you look at the directions at www.snailspacecafe.co.uk and don't confuse it with the car park at Poley's Bridge which is actually a bit further on down the trail. The group will gather at the Snails Pace Cafe for introductions (you can even hire bikes from them in advance for £12.00 by calling 01208 851178) and then we will head off down the beautiful wooded valley past Bodmin and Wadebridge, then onto Padstow for a bit of grub and an icecream. The route is firm, flat with an occasional incline: but best described as gentle. No nasty hill shockers. There's no rush - we can take our time and your qualified ride leaders will make sure everyone is safe and well briefed as to where we are headed. This is the longer route: it's 18 miles from The Snails Pace Cafe to Padstow so your total ride distance will be 36 if you go there and back with us all the way. When we get to Padstow, you can leave your bike at one of the bike storage depot's on the trail for £1.00 and head off and explore before we re-convene and head back up the trail. Please note - I have ridden my roadbike on the trail but I would suggest it's better suited to a hybrid or a mountain bike. If you want to make it a bit more adventurous then think about hiring a tandem for a giggle!
