As it is a festive fun ride, dressing up bike and yourself are encouraged, as long as everything is firmly secured to avoid catching any moving parts of bike i.e chain and wheels.
This ride is for confident riders with experience on canal paths, some busy roads are included on this route. It is not a beginner ride and there are footbridges which require bikes to be pushed up and down at steep angles.
Please dress warm, one extra layer then you think as the winds are stronger on the bike!
Spare kit, Helmet and lights for night/poor lighting conditions are all essential. Lock in case you want to have a wander in the Christmas market nearby.
