Starting from - Meet at the entrance to the Fairlop Waters Outdoor Activity Centre - accessed via second car park NOT the one where the bar, inflatables, climbing frame, marquee and owls house are.

Ample parking is available but must be paid by Ringo as no cash taken. You may have to park at the next car park along if Winter Wonderland is still running.

Nearest tube is Fairlop on the Central line and about a 10 minute walk.

Bus is a 462.

Nice easygoing route of laps around the lake. Take a breather on one of the benches if you need to.

THE BREEZE RIDE THROUGH WINTER CHALLENGE: Take part in four Breeze, Guided Rides or Community Group rides throughout January and February. All volunteers/ride creators who complete the challenge will receive their ‘Winter Challenge’ pin badge in the post and all participants who complete the challenge will receive their virtual ‘Winter Challenge’ badge which can be shared on social media. Each fortnight we will have a prize draw for lucky winners. There are 5 rides that you can take part in between now and the end of Feb to be in with a chance of a badge and winning the prize draw.

Please bring hand sanitiser gel with you and a drink. You must have a light with you, either for your own bike or a borrowed one - a headlamp is fine.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order and please bring a spare innertube, tyre levers and a multi-tool.

If you would like to borrow a bike and helmet then please arrive 15 minutes earlier by 5.00pm.

A ride suitable for all abilities around the traffic free beauty of Fairlop Waters.

The route will be traffic free, but not pedestrian or dog free :-). Mostly on tarmac but some park trails also.

There is a bar for refreshments at the end of the ride if required.

Bikes and Helmets are provided free of charge. Please bring a drink and any snacks as required with you.
