Breeze Specialized Womens Evening

This is a ride to the Specialized Cycles concept store near Ikea that will be hosting a women only event. In the past, the store has offered a variety of discounts on products and whilst I cannot guarantee there will be discounts on the evening it is likely. There will be drinks and nibbles available in the store, we will not be having a second stop for coffee. As advertised, there will be staff available to assist with questions, including how to fix a flat, basic bike maintenance, preparing for your first ride and clipping into pedals. Whilst it isn’t essential to obtain a ticket for the event it helps the store organise the refreshments and staff numbers if you do. The first 50 ladies will receive a goody bag.

Please try to bring something with which you can safely carry items home (rucksack or panniers) in case you see something nice. I will be taking my touring bike with 4 panniers on board so can carry some items for others, but the space will be on a first come first serve basis. If you buy something and my panniers are full, be prepared to carry it home.

Finally a few housekeeping items. Sunset on the day is predicted to be 19:48 BST meaning you WILL require lights for the ride home so please bring lights (if you are planning on buying lights at the store or need to borrow some, please message me), NO LIGHTS = NO RIDE. Please bring a helmet, a lock (although having spoken with the store they have promised secure storage of bikes) and some money if anything takes your fancy.
