Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

About the route
Breeze Network Burnley and Pendle are providing free guided rides through January and February 2018. ALL participants taking part in four rides during January and February will receive a British Cycling - HSBC Breeze goody bag. All the rides will start from Sycamore Farm and follow canal tow paths and designated cycle paths. Update on the weather and that weeks rote will be updated on our Facebook group page.

The route is suitable for ALL bike types but please be mindful of weather conditions as part of the canal can get muddy. There are cafes on route and we will stop for coffee and cake.
As for ALL our rides, following the guide lines below will ensure you are suitably prepared for the ride;
The advertised ride time is the time we will leave/set off. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can carry out bike checks etc. Please ensure you have checked your bike the day before and also have the basic bike tools and a pump and spare inner tube.
Cycle helmets are not compulsory but it is always best to use one. The use of any type of ear phones is not acceptabl.
Please not the weather on the day of the ride and dress accordingly. If lights are required make sure they are fully charged.
Please ensure you have a fully charged mobile and some change for emergencies.
As with any form of exercise, you will need to keep hydrated and fed, please ensure you have suitable refreshments that can be carried.
