Starting from the war memorial car park opposite Whittle Pharmacy on the A6, we make our way from one end to the other of Cuerden Valley Park.
In Bamber Bridge we join the old tram way and on to Avenham park.
In Avenham park we pick up the Guild Wheel and this takes us to Brockholes itself.
Return journey retraces some of the outward journey.
A lovely ride with plenty to keep us interested.

Riding to Brockholes nature reserve.

Mostly traffic free cycle paths. Some roads to cross. Some inclines but nothing to bad.

Stopping at Brockholes for refreshments or bring your own and enjoy the lovely place.

Helmets are compulsory in my rides thanks. Please be self sufficient with repairs. Inner tubes, tire levers and means to inflate. Cash or card for cafe. Dress for the weather conditions.

We never leave anyone behind
