This ride starts and finishes at Herne Hill station.
Quite a challenging ride to Fulham Palace gardens
We'll ride over Clapham common as far as Wandsworth common and drop down towards the river, crossing over at Wandsworth bridge. Quiet roads and through the lovely Bishop's park to reach Fulham palace and its lovely walled garden. If we're lucky the wisteria will be blooming.
Then we'll return via Putney bridge and Wandsworth.
A few hilly bits between Clapham and Wandsworth, somewhat steep.
Mostly quiet roads but a few busy sections so you should be confident in traffic. Possibility of congested junctions where we need to keep together so you must be able to ride confidently in a group and be aware of the pace. A ride for cyclists experienced in urban conditions.
