Breeze to Headcorn aerodrome

A lovely ride in the (flat) Kent countryside.
We'll be mostly using very quiet lanes, many single track, but will also be crossing & riding very short stretches of a few busy roads
There will be pot holes/gravel maybe horse riders, dog walkers. Our speed will reflect this. ie a brisk-chatty pace on the longer, quiet stretches and exclusively brisk at other times.
We'll have refreshments at the aerodrome.
There are various train options from Southeast London to get to Marden. A convenient service would be the 10.11 from Bromley South changing at Sevenoaks (10.37) for the train to Marden.
There's also a Thameslink service from Beckenham hill (09.45) to Sevenoaks which connects to the same train.
You should buy an off peak day return . If you have a freedom pass/60+ oyster you can pay from the "London boundary" to Marden.

Essentially you need to be on the train that arrives at 10.59. Be aware you need to carry your bike over the footbridge on arrival.
