An easygoing ride to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens using quiet roads for most of it. This ride is suitable to those who would like to start riding on the roads but want to take it easy, or simply to those who want a leisurely ride in the company of like-minded women. We go at the pace of the slowest.

We leave our borough using the Carlton Vale segregated cycling lane and quiet roads in Maida Vale until we join Central London crossing Marylebone Road. Soon we will be joining Hyde Park on the North Carriageway, going around it on the south towards Kensington Gardens. We come back via Queensway and Westbourne Park, crossing the Grand Union Canal over a bridge to join quiet roads of West Kilburn.

We stop for coffee and a loo break at the Lodge Cafe in Hyde Park Corner - you may also bring your own food so we can have a little picnic if the weather is dry. Either way, please bring a mask to get inside the cafe or the toilets.

Helmets aren't compulsory but highly advisable. Places are limited and sometimes get booked up with a waiting list. If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have been told to self-isolate before the ride, or can't make it for any other reason, please ensure to cancel your space so someone else can join. Only riders who booked themselves on the ride will be allowed to join. Unless the weather takes a nasty turn making it unsafe or unpleasant to cycle, this ride will go ahead even if it rains. Dress for the weather and bring a rain coat just in case.

We especially welcome newbies!
