A ride up the Lea Valley, much of it on the former Great Northern railway line route. Return to St Albans by Thameslink train, you'll need £5.10 for the fare, please bring cash to repay the leader for the Groupsave ticket purchase which gives us a discount.
A ride of contrasts, the bucolic Lea Valley and industrial Luton plus the very modern DART and parkway station.
There will be a coffee opportunity at LTN station, and there are WCs if required. This is a slightly longer ride than usual but the pace will be easy.
