Breeze to PennCroft Winery via Long and Itchell Lanes

Today’s is a steady ride with some hills which we shall ride at our own pace, re-grouping when we need to, and leaving no one behind. 24miles, 1100ft, 45.8ft/mile.

Please arrive with time to spare, we leave at 9:30am.

Our route is: Hartley Wintney, Bagnell Lane, Odiham, Bidden Road, Long Sutton, Long Lane (the best downhill!), then a right turn onto Roke and Itchell lanes into Crondall.

We stop for a break at PennCroft Winery in Crondall just under 18miles in.

Afterwards, it is 6 relatively flat miles back.

A steady, friendly pace; cycling along tidily. Own pace on hills, slow pedalling or waiting on top in order to re-group. Unrushed. Looking out for each other. No one left behind.

Helmets are compulsory. Please also ensure that your bicycle is in good working condition (bike is clean and oiled, no rattling or squeaking (annoying/ ominous...), tyres correctly inflated, brakes sharp!) Bring along a spare inner tube if you are running clinchers (ie “regular” tyres and not tubeless tyres).
