Breeze to Talybont on usk reservoir

This is a lovely route through quiet lanes and we always stop to regroup and plenty of time to take a breather. We will start outside Brecon Theatre and use the canal path as far as Brynych Lock we then join the road and follow the Taff Trail to the reservoir. We will stop along the way and never leave anyone behind, Cycling at a social pace. After the reservoir we will go to the Canalside Cafe for coffee before returning to Brecon. This is an idea ride for anyone wanting to build confidence on their bikes. This isnt a hilly route there are a couple of small inclines but short ones and there is no rush. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, layers are often better in colder weather, gloves and helmet. Make sure your bike is in good working order before the ride and tyres are pumped up. Bring at least one inner tube and or a puncture repair kit. Money for refreshments. It is takeaway service at the cafe at the moment. We will use the canal path before turning onto the Taff Trail and following NCR 8

We will stop at the reservoir and then come back to the canal side cafe for coffee before returning to Brecon.
