Breeze to Waltham Place Farm shop from FBC

This route is not too hilly or challenging and is mainly on country lanes. We will cycle from Finchampstead via Ludgrove and Montague Park to Binfield, then on country lanes over to White Waltham, to visit the lovely tea room at Waltham Place Farm (only open on certain days in the Summer.) There is an organic farm shop and the tea room serves tea/coffee and home-made cakes/bakes. Suitably refreshed, we will return via a different route, riding through Hurst, Winnersh and Woosehill.

This route is nearly all on quiet roads or lanes, with a few short sections on busier roads and one off-road section on a bridleway.

You must please wear a cycle helmet (and maybe bring a rain jacket in view of the recent unsettled weather!) Please also bring a bottle of water, a spare inner tube to fit your own tyres and a pump and bike lock if you have one. For the coffee stop, please bring cash or card for drink payment. To avoid unnecessary delays, please check the night before that your tyres are correctly inflated (makes it easier!) both brakes working, and chain oiled
