Breeze Turns 11- Watford to Welwyn

Meeting at Watford Junction at 10;15 to travel by 10:30 train to St Albans Abbey station from where we'll cycle to join the Alban Way to Stanborough Park. There are rides from across Hertfordshire planned and the idea is to meet at the lakes at 12.30pm and have a picnic by the lake. There is also a cafe so you can purchase refreshments there and there are public toilets available too. After the celebrations, about 2.00 we'll cycle back along the Alban Way to catch the train back to Watford Junction. Expected time back to Watford Junction will be 15:10 or just before 16:00 depending how quickly we cycle from Welwyn to St Albans!
Off peak cheap day return is £6.30 and anyone who lives close to the Abbey Line is welcome to join at their local station rather then meet at Watford Junction.
Please let me know in advance if you plan to do join the train on route.

Breeze buffet at Gosling Sports Centre, Welwyn. The buffet costs £5 which I will collect on the day but please let me know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements.

Helmets are advised and decorating yourself and your bike for the Christmas celebrations are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube for your bike and money for the train fare £5.70.
