S43 1LT

We start our ride, by the canal (near The Mill pub), we then ride along the tow path towards the railway station. We the cycle up Crow Lane (this is a road which has been closed by the local authority to encourage more people to cycle during the Covid crisis - therefore I think we should make full use of it).
At the top of Crow Lane, we pick up National Cycle Route 67, which takes us through West Wood, then on some very quiet roads, before picking up the trail in to Poolsbrook. We will do a lap of the park, before continuing on the trail, then riding down the canal tow path to Kateys for coffee/cake. After refreshments we then cycle back to our start point.

A new circular Breeze route

The route will involve cycling along the canal tow path, quite/closed roads and National Cycle Route 67 through woods.

We plan to stop at Kateys cafe, which will be at the 11 mile point.

Helmets are advisable. Please also carry a spare inner tube, (even if you do not know how to fix a puncture) Please take a minute to read BCs Covid guidance cycling guide https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/about/article/20200512-about-bc-news-British-Cycling-Updated-Coronavirus-Guidance-0

The ride is suitable for all, there are a few hills involved - you will be encouraged to cycle up them at your own pace, or even get off and walk if you wish to do so. No one will be left behind.
