Breeze WCH - The Watford Green Loop

The ‘Green Loop’ is a continuous cycling and walking route spanning 6.5 miles that encircles Watford town centre, proposed by the Spokes cycling group and developed by Hertfordshire and Watford Councils.

From the bustling Watford Junction to the tranquil Cassiobury Park, this route seamlessly connects key locations, serene open spaces and valued heritage sites, using the popular National Cycle Route 6, via Watford High Street, the Ebury Way, Oxhey Activity Park and the NCN Cycle Route 6/61.

Please bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture - as it's easier to change an inner tube than repair a puncture. Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4.50 new should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped and wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and perhaps a backpack so you can put on or take off layers as needed. Also bring some money for our cafe stop if you would like to buy a drink, snack or light lunch.

Watford Cycle Hub can check over your bike and we can pump up your tyres for you if you come in good time before the ride. If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always bring it in for a free assessment. Watford Cycle Hub are a Not-For-Profit, Community Enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service.

Please meet at 12:20pm at the Hub so we can run through a riders register and bike checks before we set off.
