Brian's Cycle ride to Hindley, near Stocksfield

We will leave Pedalling Squares and cycle up the south side of the river, crossing the bridge at Wylam and heading to Ovingham. We will then cross Evingham bridge and cycle to Stocksfield before turning off toward Hindley and Wheelbirks Ice Cream Parlourand tea rooms for a snack. Return to Pedalling Squares is through Stocksfield, Wylam to Newburn over the bridge and back on the south side of the river. This is a lovely scenic route which is about 38 miles and is mainly off road. where there are roads they are very quiet This is a no drop ride Please ensure your bike is in good working order and that you are carrying spare inner tubes as it is very difficult to mend a puncture should the weather turn wet
