Brian's cycle ride to the cheese farm Blagdon

leaving Pedalling Squares at 9.30 am sharp to cycle over the Scotswood bridgeton the path, and onto a challenging climb up through Lemington. We then cycle to Blutcher and on through North Walbottle country park to the Wheatsheaf pub near the airport. It's then on to Dinnington past Kingston Park to Blagdon. The stop is at the cheese farm where we will have a snack etc. before returning to Pedalling Squares via Saltwick and Ponteland There is a long decent through Throckley and Newburn where you can get your average speed up. This ride is only suitable for adults and is about 38 miles. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you are carrying 2 spare inner tubes in the event of a puncture. (It's much easier and quicker than trying to fix)
