Starting point

Cambridgeshire

Leaving Anglesey Abbey we'll ride through Bottisham where we'll pick up the first of the bridleways that will make up most of the route. This takes us across the fields to Six Mile Bottom Road where we'll cross onto an unmade road which takes us up towards Westley Bottom. The route then goes along bits of the Icknield Way and the Fox Road byway to Balsham. From there we drop down to the Roman Road which will take us all the way down to Fulbourn. From Fulbourn we'll be riding back on quiet roads to Anglesey Abbey,

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

This route loops out to Balsham from Anglesey Abbey using mostly bridleways and byways. It will be most enjoyable on a gravel bike, mountain bike or a road bike with slightly chunkier tyres.

Virtually all of the route is traffic free byways and bridleways.

There will be a chance to stop at the Anglesey Abbey cafe at the end.

We never leave anyone behind
