Jumping straight onto the towpath from the car park, we will head along the towpath to Sowerby Bridge where we will switch from the Calder and Hebble Navigation to The Rochdale Canal, there is a small road section to switch between to two.
We will then head along the towpath to Luddenfoot where we come of the towpath for a short road section to pick up the trail that runs along the railway line
At Mytholmroyd station we will again join the road for a mix of road and trail to Hebden Bridge then carry on the towpath to Summit where we will stop for coffee
Returning to Brighouse by the same route or towpath
There are some cobble sections at locks and a few tight sections on this route but we will take it steady
The towpath will be busy with walkers, runners, dogs and other cyclists but we will take it steady
There is no cafe at Summit but we can stop at Park Life cafe, Hebden Bridge for a breather and munchies if required either way.
A lovely ride to Summit via Hebden Bridge
