This great route passes Bristol’s historic transport site Temple Meads Rail Station which was built in 1840 by Brunel and is the oldest surviving railway terminus in the world.  Exploring a 12 mile route of urban wildlife and tranquillity takes in some great country lanes passing Knowle Golf Course, city parks and the River Avon.  Want to take part but don’t have a bike?  Live, work or study in Bristol or North Somerset?  You can now loan one from Better By Bike, click here for more information.
