Bromley, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth and Merton parks and commons ride

Sunday 20th September, we'll ride in six boroughs to visit some of their bigger parks and commons. It's loop ride from Croydon and back with a couple of coffee and food stops. We'll go to Crystal Palace Park via South Norwood Lake then swing round Dulwich Park to Brockwell Park and ride through that to Brixton for a refreshment stop. Then on to Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common to our second refreshment stop in Springfield Park. Then some leafy green paths take us to Figges Marsh and Mitcham Common and back to the start.

The ride is 22 miles and after the climb to Crystal Palace, which isn't particularly demanding, there's no difficult hill. It's nearly all on paved surface and I think you would be all right on a road bike.

Meet at Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Please bring a spare inner tube.
