About the route
An easy ride along the old Lanchester Valley railway from the Broompark picnic area to the Hownsgill cafe just outside Consett. This is all on bike friendly off road track. I thought I would post this ride as my wife and I find there is not many to do other than Newcastle or Teesside. We will ride at a nice gentle 10-12mph. Bring your own inner tube etc :-)
