These brand new Breeze sessions at the Brownlee Centre closed circuit will be open to any women and children 16yrs and over. The only ability criteria is that you must be able to ride a bike. The circuit is a mile long and can be used in a variety of ways and there is capacity to have mixed abilities on the circuit.
The sessions are lead by a number of Breeze Ride Leaders, who will help structure the sessions around the following themes; building confidence in gear changing, road skills, for example looking around, signaling, riding 2 abreast, grouping at junctions; building your speed through sprint work and incline sprints, improving body position on bends; or you can just ride the track with friends and see how many miles you can do during the session.
You can chose an easy going session or a challenging one based on your preference.
The session time is 6-7pm, however please try to arrive before 5:50pm so the leaders can take a register and give a quick briefing. Leaders will meet you outside the centre. There is a large secure car park and toilet/changing facilities inside the centre.

If you would like to borrow a road bike and a helmet, please contact reception on: [email protected] to reserve one before booking on to the ride. If you are borrowing a bike, please report to reception where the staff will kindly fit you with an appropriate bike. We would appreciate it if you could arrive at 5:45pm in this case so you are ready to go on the circuit at 6pm.
