An nice route with the option to repeat a loop in the middle of the ride to extend it. The route starts in Townley Park, Burnley near the garden centre, refreshments are available. The route takes you up to Brunshaw Road and onto Brun Valley Forest Park and does a circuit of the River Brun after passing Rowley Lake. Then you join the Leeds Liverpool canal at Thompson Park for just over 1 mile as far as Finsley Gate before a return to Townley Park via Parliament Street.
