Starting at CH51QA Corner Kitchen Cafe, Ash Grove. The cafe is close to Ash Grove Car Park (50p per half hour).
At the beginning of the ride, a bike check, known as the 'M' check will be carried out to ensure there are no loose screws and tyres are as hard as apples i.e. a safety check.

A distance of approximately 8.5 miles each way, with a speed between 8-12 miles per hour, on a mainly traffic free cycle route, the ride is mainly flat with beautiful views over the Dee Estuary. Those with cameras can stop and take pictures.
There is a section through an Industrial Estate (we can walk if people wish). Once past the Industrial Estate one is overlooking the protected Dee Estuary and can hear the bleating of sheep and bird song.
Once past the Marsh we make our way through a housing estate towards the Wirral Way Circular Cycle Path which will take us on to Parkgate and the cafe for refreshments.
It would be advisable to carry a snack and fluid, a spare jumpers and spare inner tube. Helmets must be worn.
