Butlers at Kirkstall Forge

Join us for a ride to the popular cafe Butlers at Kirkstall Forge

Leaving the park we cross over the A65 and into Westside retail park following the road around to the rear, pick up the Yeadon Greenway, popping out on Henshaw lane and down to A65, here we head up to Rawdon on Quaker lane and Batter lane, through Rawdon and drop down to Horsforth, pick up the cycle path that runs along Broadway/Horsforth New road, down then up to Rodley (if we are making good time we can continue up the cycle path for some hills training) where we pick up the road heading on Upper Rodley lane we drop left down to the canal for 0.6 mile passing Fallwood Marina, once under the bridge we turn off the canal and pick up the road that runs next to the Scout camp and onto Kirkstall Forge Train Station, using the lifts to access the office building and our lunch stop

Leaving Kirkstall Forge we make our way out to A65, turning right at the lights and down towards the Abbey, turning left onto Vesper lane, then its a short sharp climb up Abbey Walk, turning right onto Morris lane. Before the school we turn left and wiggle our way on cycle paths to Beckett Park and Headingley, Weetwood, Adel, Cookridge, Bramhope, Chevin and return to Guiseley on Carlton lane
