Butlers, Kirkstall Forge & A Japanese Garden, Horsforth

Join us for a ride up to Horsforth to check out the Japanese Garden in Horsforth Hall Park

There is an option of two rides, one with off road trail through Esholt Woods and a road version so everyone has an opportunity, both return along the towpath

Leaving the car park we head down the towpath to Buck lane, we drop down and over the river, turning right to follow the trail by the river, coming out at The Old Barn, here we head into Esholt picking up the Yorkshire Water road and along the path in the woods, at the T junction we turn left then right and follow the trail up to Apperley lane, here we head across to Woodlands drive and follow to the end turning left up Knott lane to A65, a quick left then right onto Layton lane and up to Rawdon, turn right and follow, right again onto West End lane and drop down to the park to check out the garden. We then use back roads down to A65 and then down to Kirkstall Forge and our cafe stop
