From the lovely Stanley Ferry Marina the first half of the ride is no off road paths and trails all the way to Pontefract Race Course where we rest awhile.
The next 2 miles see us travel along semi quiet roads through Snydale then turning onto a track taking us to Warmfield Common. Then quiet lanes and trails back to Stanley Ferry

Quiet canal tow paths, off road trail and some qiet country roads with beautiful scenary all the way.
2/3 traffic free tow paths and trails. 1/3 quiet and semi quiet country lanes
Stopping to take a breather and refreshments at Pontefract racecourse, near the lake
Must wear a helmet. Bring sustenance and plenty of water
