Starting from - The start point is the parking area at Broadway, in between the amphitheatre and the ruins of the Roman barracks. There should be parking spaces available but if not you can park by the school in the car park off Cold Bath road and cycle past the barracks to the start. There may be toilets open here but not guaranteed. NP18 1AY

This ride heads out of Caerleon along the Usk road for about 3 miles. Then we turn and follow Treherbert Road to the end. We cross the main road and head down Chapel Lane to reach the river. Then we follow the riverside path into Cwmbran and our rest stop.
After a short break, we cycle along the paths to reach the canal which we then follow down into Newport. Then we pick up the cycle path back out of Newport to Caerleon and the finish.

A looping route to Cwmbran and back.

This route is a mix of roads, lanes, canal towpaths and cycle paths.

We will stop at Ten Bar & kitchen in Cwmbran for refreshments.

Please wear a helmet and bring along some money and a lock for the stop. It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.
