Cafe and Scarecrows - Down Grange to Overton

LET'S GO AND FIND THE SCARECROWS

Meet in the car park at Down Grange Sports Ground (under height barrier, just inside the entrance from Pack Lane.

We'll go out through Oakley then ride briefly on the B3400 before turning off at the Beach Arms and following Harrow Way. There are a few ups and downs with one steepish hill before Overton. Retrace the route on the way back. Average moving pace 10 mph.

Please make sure you arrive so that you're ready to START the ride at 0945 with time before that for a chat about the route. If you're new to Breeze please arrive about 10 mins early so we can guide you through a bike check.

Make sure your tyres are well inflated and your brakes / gears all work.

• Bring a spare inner tube that fits your wheels, tyre levers and pump (plus puncture repair kit if you have one).
• You'll need bike lock at café.
• Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather (layers work well when it's colder and waterproofs can help with windchill as well as rain).
