Starting from - We will meet by Go Ape on at Birches Valley Visitor Centre. We will be wearing red Breeze tops so you can easily spot us.

We are always excited to meet women who want to give mountain biking a go for the first time or improve their confidence. Once you've booked your ride please check for messages prior to the ride. We will post messages if there are any changes to the ride or we want to provide additional information.

If you book a place and then are unable to attend, that's ok because we know that plans can change. All we ask is that if you can't come please cancel your place on Let's Ride. This is important for ride leaders and other riders, so we are not waiting unnecessarily for riders who can not attend on the day. WS15 2UQ

The route is about 5-6 miles on green and blue trails. We will stay in the area of Birches Valley Forest Centre. It is a great beginner ride on gravel paths and then single track mountain bike trail with most gentle slopes with one slight incline which is achievable and you can always stop to catch your breath if needed.

This is a beginners mountain back ride, brought to you by qualified mountain bike leaders. We also hold level 2 Outdoor First Aid certificates. The ride will start with a ride on shared paths around Fair Oaks Pools. This is a green route on are wide gravel paths on relatively flat terrain. Once you've had chance to warm up we will take the Perrys Trail, a blue route which is generally a smooth gravel surface with mainly gentle slopes. It is a single track route which we will guide you around at a pace that you choose. It is perfect trail to help you take a next step on your mountain bike journey.

This is a traffic free route. The green route is a shared path with walkers and horse riders. The blue trail is for bikes only although there are pedestrian crossing places. The route requires a mountain bike.

At the end of the ride we will stop at the cafe at Birches Valley where you are welcome to stay for refreshments.

A mountain bike in good working order, a pump and spare inner tube and a helmet. Please bring a payment method for refreshments. The car park is pay and display.

This is a great ride to start your mountain bike journey and we will support and guide you throughout the route. We can support with minor trail side problems with your bike, so don't worry about punctures
