A lovely varied ride that is hilly in places and does have some long climbs, but we can always walk and we usually do on this route!!! A great friendly and social ride to Poppies Tea Room!
This route will take us alongside the river, across the downs and through the pretty villages to our refreshment stop at Thompsons Nurseries on Stone Street. A lovely rural return route to Chartham via Petham and Sole Street with a beautiful and enjoyable, gentle downhill section towards the end!
Please remember your.....

A lovely, varied route.
There will be hills, they cannot be avoided in this area! But we will ( and often do) walk them! There is a short section of off road cycle path following the beautiful River Stour into Canterbury (suitable for road bikes) and a lovely long gentle descent on the return journey!
