Canterbury Village Rides - Toddler's Cove to the Sondes Tea House Selling

This is a HSBC UK Breeze Ride, led by women for women. Ride leaders are called Breeze Champions and are trained as level 1 or level 2 ride leaders by British Cycling. They are all volunteers and hold current first aid certificates.

This friendly sociable ride will follow the beautiful Great Stour Way (cycle route 18) out of Canterbury to Chartham. We will then make our way through Shalmsford Street along the A28 to Chilham where we will turn off to Perry Woods and Selling. We will stop at the Sondes Tea House before making our way back to Chartham via Old Wives Lees, then pick up the Great Stour Way back to Canterbury. A lovely varied route!

Please remember your.....
- spare inner tube, pump and tools needed if you don't have quick release wheels
- water bottle(s)
- suitable clothing
- money for refreshments
- a contact number for a lift/assistance in case of mechanical breakdown!! (ride leaders are not trained mechanics!)

Please check your bike over before you leave for the ride eg. brakes, tyres, chain, gears etc.!!
