Carlisle - Biking Round Beautiful Bitts Park - 4 miler

This is a short family friendly route through beautiful Bitts Park, starting and finishing at the Café at the rear of Sands Centre. Bitts Park is surrounded by beautiful scenery with the Castle on one side and the River Eden on the other. This is a short flat circular route on traffic free tarmac roads, in the middle of the City, ideal for beginner or young cyclists. Come and give it a go and spend the day in the park, with plenty of other activities nearby to fill in the time before or after your ride, there is rope climbing, skating, climbing facilities riverside walks and children's parks and activities, bring a picnic, sit in the park or by the river and make it a great family day out.
