This is a lovely ride along the grand union canal. Most of the canal is well paved but there is a short stretch between Kings Langley and Nash Mills that is very bumpy. If we decide we dont want to do the bumpy stretch, I am happy to ride up to the A41, don't worry though, there is a decent path so if the road is busy we can ride on the pathway) It will be a leisurely speed, although speed is often determined by the number of other cyclists and walkers. We will stop at the fabulous Woody's Cafe in Apsley Lock, for a coffee and cake, then head back to Cassiobury Park.. You could even join in the Breeze ride being run by Fiona at 12.30 (from the cycle hub, which is what I hope to do, so you are welcome to join me on the ride back to the cycle hub).
