This is a longer distance ride starting on the Harbourside in Whitehaven and riding out of town on the cycle path. The path takes us all the way (pretty much) to Kirkland and from here the route changes to country roads. We shall climb past the school to Cauda Brow and when we have got our breath back, we can continue the ride heading back towsrds Braithwaite where the Legendary Wild Duck flies up another stinker. After that it's quite calm as we find our way back onto the cycle path at Lillyhall and follow it all the way back to the start point.
This ride will present some challenges, but it is a lovely ride and nobody will be left behind or pushed to do more than they want to. It's a good one for those wanting a bit more mileage and I have posted this well in advance to give you all time to build your mileage a bit beforehand. I would expect the ride to take at least three hours so you may wish to bring a snack, certainly bring a drink, and don't forget a spare tube for your bike - just in case. The ride is listed for Women only, but if you have an older child of either sex who wants to come and is a proficient cyclist, please let me know as they will also be welcome. Also please note that you must wear a correctly fitted helmet on this ride.

Any questions? Send me a message on here.
Thanks! Look forward to seeing you there!
