CBK Ride Social: Craster to Cullercoats

We had such a great time on our last long bike ride in May, we are having another. This time it is Craster to Cullercoats. Like last time, we’ll take cycle transport which will carry the cycles (and cyclists!) from Cullercoats Bike & Kayak to Craster. Once dropped off we’ll be following National Cycle Network Route 1 all the way down the coast, stopping in on Alnmouth, Warkworth and Woodhorn Colliery. This is a challenging ride in terms of distance, but the pace will be suitable for recreational riders who fancy a bit of longer ride. NCN 1 is a mix of trails and quiet roads. The price is £10 per person, this covers the cost of transporting you and your bike to the start point. This should be paid in advance by calling Cullercoats Bike & Kayak on 0191 251 9412, or you can pop in to the shop during the normal opening times. We’ll be leaving Cullercoats promptly at 8.30am, so please arrive around 8am to allow time to load your bike.
