The Wootton Wheel route is a reasonably flat 45 mile circular route setting off over the Humber bridge to Barton, Horkstow, across to Elshalm and Melton Ross before heading through wolds villages to Ulceby. We then come back round Goxhill and Barrow to Barton and back over the bridge. The roads are mainly countryside back roads, so quiet. However there are parts of the ride on main roads with normal traffic.
Cafe stop will be at Ulceby, it is at the half way point but the second half is an easier ride.
Meeting outside tourist information in the Humber bridge car park, free parking and toilet facilities are available, but if you don’t want the bridge toll, let me know and we can arrange a south bank meeting point.
Remember to bring drinks (and snacks if you require them), and money for the cafe stop which will be at te@6. Helmets are advisable, spare inner tubes and pumps are essential.
I expect the ride to be 11mph to 13mph but no one will be left behind.
Looking forward to seeing you :-)
