This Burnside, Rutherglen & Cambuslang Community Rides ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

We’ll head up EK road and turn off along High Blantyre Road. We’ll then head down Stoneymeadow road into and through Blantyre and descend into Hamilton. From Hamilton we’ll head along cycle path at Strathclyde park that’ll take us to chatelherault Country park. After a short break for refreshments and toilets we’ll re trace our route back to Strathclyde park. We’ll have a brief cycle through the park on the way to Bothwell and Uddingston. Continuing along London road cycle path into the city and return via Rutherglen.
( Weather permitting we’ll go to Chatelherault Country Park as after bad weather the path can be covered in debris and possible flooding )

* please note in order to participate in the ride a place has to be booked as we are only able to take 8 riders * if anyone turns up without a place booked will be unable to participate on the ride.
