We will ride out to the Surrey countryside and pass through the pretty villages of Great and Little Bookham and along rolling country lanes to our café stop at the Medicine Garden. On Our return Journey we will pass the watermill in Cobham and head back to Cheam via Esher, Claygate, and Ewell.

An ideal route for anyone looking to improve their road cycling confidence and increase their distance. We will leave the urban roads of Greater London behind and head out into the country lanes and pretty villages of Surrey.

A ride through rolling countryside, there will be hills, but no massive ones. Where possible we will use quieter roads (so that we can chat) and there will also be opportunities to build confidence on busier roads and junctions.

Our café stop will be the Medicine Garden in Cobham; a restored Victorian hothouse within a walled garden. They also do nice cake.

Please bring a helmet, water, spare inner tube, a small lock and money for the café stop. As this is a longer ride it is advisable to avoid bringing heavy bags or panniers.

We never leave anyone behind; the plan is to enjoy being out on our bikes as a group and have cake along the way.
