Check out the pumpkin competition at Coln St Aldwyn's community cafe.

We will meet by the Allotments in Sherborne, however this time we will head eastwards along a delightful road to Farmington. At Farmington we then head to Northleach (a few ups and down). At Northleach town centre we will head along the high street out of town to the Eastington road. We skirt Eastington to head for the Salt Way which will take us to Ablington and then onto Bibury. Bibury may be busy with tourists, however we can pause to see the famous Arlington Row of cottages. We climb out of Bibury on the Salt way has good views. Then we have the option to do a loop to Dean Farm and Hatherop and onto Coln St Aldwyns to see the pumpkin carving competition (open to adults and children so should be very varied) and enjoy a coffee at their community cafe.

If we omit the loop then the ride will be 21 miles.

After this we head back to Sherborne via Aldsworth and Lodge Park.

A circular route

The roads will be mostly quiet country roads. Crossing the A40 on the way with a very short distance on it on the way back.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube.
