Starting from - The start point is the free car park at Tenby Lane, just off Denbigh Drive. Denbigh Drive is the exit off the roundabout just before the Tesco express. Come off the M48 at the Chepstow junction and then take the exit to Thornwell. The Tesco express is by the next roundabout. Please note that there aren't any toilets here but there are new services just off the motorway junction roundabout that will probably have some. NP16 5GH

The route heads out over the bridge and along the road to Elberton. Shortly after, we turn left and drop down Mumbley's hill to Mumbley's lane where we will stop to look at the Wallace and Grommit figures. Then we head to Oldbury On Severn, followed by Lower Morton and Rockhampton. After that, we head towards Stone and then Damery before we reach the estate and our snack stop.
After a well earned rest, we follow the road to Bibstone, Milbury Heath and then around the edge of Thornbury. Then we head to Littleton-upon-Severn before rejoining the main road back to the bridge and finish by crossing back over to our start point.

An exploration out and around Thornbury

This is a mix of roads and country lanes. The ride is suitable for those more confident on roads.

We will stop at the Tortworth estate for refreshments. We will also stop to look at the Wallace and Grommit figures along the way.

Please wear a helmet and bring along some money and a lock for the rest stop. It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.

We never leave anyone behind
