This is the second of five loops which follow the Chiltern Cycleway. The Chiltern Cycleway extends across 3 counties: Berks, Bucks and Herts. Each loop is approx. 32 miles long and takes in some highlights of the area. These rides are aimed at the leisure cyclist who would like to try riding in a different area and fancies a bit of a supported challenge. There are hills, after all this is the Chilterns, but we will always stop at the top so the group can re-gather. Each ride has a particular highlight to recommend it and we always stop at a café to re-fuel! Riders can sign up for as many rides as they wish. Please ensure you check your bike thoroughly the day before to make sure it is roadworthy. I sometimes use the app 'what 3 words' to help with car park location so it would be useful to have this on your phone. This is the most challenging of the loops with several demanding hills. However, don't let this put you off as it also affords some of the best views in the Chilterns. This loop starts from Naphill car park and drops into Hughenden Valley, following the country lanes through Speen and Bryants Bottom. There is a great view over the local area from the top of Kop Hill followed by a thrilling descent. From Radnage and Stokenchurch we follow the edge of the woodlands through the bluebells to Ibstone where we will have a brief water and snack stop before continuing to Cobstone windmill and a superb view over Turville. We continue through the village of Fingest and onto West Wycombe where we have a proper cafe stop.

Most of the roads are country lanes, although there are some busier sections. There is one unavoidable fast stretch of road for approximately one mile. We will follow cycle paths where it is safer to do so.

At about halfway we will have a brief snack and water stop plus a proper cafe stop at the Walled Garden in West Wycombe.

Please wear a helmet, bring a spare inner tube/ tubeless repair kit, pump, and a bicycle lock.

We never leave anyone behind
