Kings Norton Playing Fields Carpark

This is a 6 mile route from Kings Norton playing fields carpark to the Chinese Quarter in Birmingham City Centre for Sunday Lunch. After lunch we will ride back to the carpark. It will be relaxed, social ride which will go at the pace of the slowest rider (no more than about 9 mph at the most) and no one is left behind. The ride will also enable riders to see three of the bears that form part of Birmingham's Big Sleuth.

DETAILS OF THE ROUTE: we will travel along the cycle route 5 to the Chinese Quarter.

There is plenty of bike parking. So you will need a bike lock plus a water bottle with a drink. You will also need money for lunch. Although helmets are not compulsory for adults, you would be advised to wear one. Children under 18 years old will need to wear a helmet and must be accompanied by a parent or adult carer. This is a BREEZE ride and so is for women only who may bring children if they so wish.
