The return journey takes us right through Croston and later past Worden park and Runshaw college. We then re trace our steps along Dawson lane back to the start.
An evening ride out for a chippy tea to Croston. This will be a fairly fast ride and riders should be happy with riding at an average of 11-12 mph.
A mixture of quiet roads and lanes and busier roads. Rider must be confident riding in a group and in traffic.
Stopping at Westhead fish and chips in Croston. There are benches outside and no indoor seating. If the weather is bad there may only be a very short stop.
Helmets are compulsory on my rides please. Please be self sufficient with spare inner tubes, means to inflate and tyre levers etc. CASH ONLY AT CHIPPY. Please dress for weather and bring a waterproof/extra layer.
