Circuit to the North.
The first of our Autumn rides is an eighteen mile clockwise circuit along country lanes that we’ve used before. Staying mainly within the Stour Valley we’ll have a gentle easing back into the saddle. Out along the Darlingscote Road to Ilmington and then north towards Wimpstone, we’ll turn back to Crimscote for our coffee stop at Talton Mill Cafe. Back to Shipston via Newbold, Halford and Honington, there are no significant hills to exhaust us, but the wind could give us some extra exercise.
The weather forecast suggests a chilly start to the day, but hopefully we’ll get the ride in without rain. It might be best to wear peelable layers. Make sure your bike is in roadworthy working order, bring water plus cash for your coffee & cake. A properly fitting helmet is recommended but is not compulsory.

I look forward to seeing you on the ride on Saturday.
