CITY TO STEAM

This is a great route along the Bristol-Bath Railway path starting from St Phillips. Your ride takses you via the cyclepath past Fishponds, Mangotsfield and Warmley Stations. .Explore wildlife and the various sculptures before reaching the historic Bitton Station from where steam trains run along a restored section of line alongside the cycle path. This ride is ALL traffic free and although the outward journey is slightly uphill, this is still a very easygoing ride and will be at a moderate pace. There will be a scheduled rest at Bitton where you can take refreshments and also there are toilet facilities at both Bitton & Warmley.
